Who is behind Art Is Trash?
The video from 2017-09-19 documents another work by Francisco de Pájaro, better known as Art Is Trash. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market.
