About Art Is Trash

Behind the name Art Is Trash stands Francisco de Pájaro, a street artist working in Barcelona – this video was published on 2020-06-12. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. That makes every figure a one-off: once the street is cleaned, it is gone, and often only videos like this one remain. Beyond Barcelona, his trash art has also appeared in cities such as London and New York.
