Who is behind Art Is Trash?

The video from 2021-03-16 documents another work by Francisco de Pájaro, better known as Art Is Trash. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market. Most pieces last only a few hours – until the city's rubbish trucks come by.
