Francisco de Pájaro – Art Is Trash

This clip from 2021-12-28 shows a street piece by Art Is Trash, the project of Barcelona-based artist Francisco de Pájaro. Instead of a studio he uses the street, painting directly on discarded objects and often improvising with whatever lies nearby. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market.
