Francisco de Pájaro – Art Is Trash

The video from 2024-07-15 documents another work by Francisco de Pájaro, better known as Art Is Trash. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. His figures poke fun at throwaway culture, power and the established art world. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection.
