Who is behind Art Is Trash?

Behind the name Art Is Trash stands Francisco de Pájaro, a street artist working in Barcelona – this video was published on 2023-02-17. Instead of a studio he uses the street, painting directly on discarded objects and often improvising with whatever lies nearby. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market.
