Who is behind Art Is Trash?

Behind the name Art Is Trash stands Francisco de Pájaro, a street artist working in Barcelona – this video was published on 2023-05-17. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection.
